Winter timetables from September, 10th

Bus routes with increased frequency of existing bus services will end on September, 9th. From September, 10th, the following bus routes will return to their usual timetables: M-110 Málaga-Torremolinos-Benalmádena Costa M-119 Calahonda-La Cala de Mijas-Fuengirola M-156 Las Lagunas-Centro Comercial-Cerros del Águila M-160 Málaga-Rincón de la Victoria-Cotomar M-168 Málaga-Rincón de la Victoria-Cotomar (Búho) M-220 Fuengirola-Marbella M-221 Fuengirola-Coín On September, 9th, Summer Special Services 2023, which connect inland municipalities with beaches and leisure areas, will also finish. Increased M-122 bus services due to Mijas Fair (september, 5th to 10th), including bus stop at Las Lagunas

The Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium increases several bus routes during the Feria de Mijas 2023 (Mijas Fair), from September, 5th to 10th. Bus route M-122 Fuengirola - Mijas will increase its services with departures from Fuengirola untill 02:00 and from Mijas Pueblo untill 02:30. In addition, from 18:45 bus route M-122 will stop at "Rotonda Ford", to provide service to users who want to access from Las lagunas to Mijas Pueblo. We inform you that, due to the fair and festivities of Mijas 2023, from August 31st to September 17th the bus stop "Mijas Pueblo" will be moved to the entrance of the Mijas Town Hall car park, located in the Plaza Fuente de la Seda of this town. Reinforcements on bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas due to Blues Night on Saturday, 29th

The Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs you that bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas  will increase its services and timetable next Saturday, July, 29th, due to of the celebration of the Blues Night in Mijas Pueblo. Thus, there will be seven complete special services (one way + return) departing from Fuengirola until 02:00 and from Mijas Pueblo until 02:30. Increase of expeditions and modification of routes for Rincón de la Victoria Fair from July,12 to 16

Due to Rincón de la Victoria fair, night bus route M-168 Rincón de la Victoria-Málaga (Búho) has increased its offer with an exclusive expedition for the nights of July, 13, 14 and 15. Thus, every day of the fair there will be departures from Malaga at 00:40 and 01:50, and from Rincón de la Victoria at 00:10 and 01:20, and from Thursday to Saturday of the fair there will be a departure from Rincón at 02:30. Summer 2023 Special Services to beaches, shops and night spots

Between June, 23rd and September, 9th, head to the beach, go shopping or enjoy a night on the town on public transport. As in previous years, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium is offering a Special Summer Service. This includes new inter-urban bus routes and increased frequency of existing bus services, enabling passengers to take public transport to beaches, shopping centres and night spots and thus avoid the problems associated with the use of private vehicles (traffic jams, parking, fines, etc.). Call for strike action on Avanza bus routes from May, 26th

The intercentre committee of the company Avanza (formerly Portillo) has called a strike in urban and intercity bus services with the following timetable: May: 26th and 30th from 06:00 to 11:00 hours. June: 09th, 16th, 20th and 30th from 06:00 to 11:00 hours. Minimum services have been established with a coverage of 50% for regular urban and interurban bus services. A 50% reduction in all fares on Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes and on the Malaga Metro paid with the transport card.

The Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium, on the instructions of the Regional Government of Andalusia, will apply from January, 1st, 2023 a generalised reduction of 50% on all journeys paid for with the Transport Card, resulting in the following fares: Zero-jump journeys: 0,50 € One-jump journeys: 0,57 € Journeys with two jumps: 0,76 € Trips of three jumps: 1,25 € Transfers: 0,33 € Malaga Metro: 0,41 € Those fares will be applied from January, 1st in all means of transport that are members of the Consortium Card, although in the case of interurban buses they will be applied from January, 16th, although the new discount will be applied retroactively.
