A 50% reduction in all fares on Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes and on the Malaga Metro paid with the transport card.

The Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium, on the instructions of the Regional Government of Andalusia, will apply from January, 1st, 2023 a generalised reduction of 50% on all journeys paid for with the Transport Card, resulting in the following fares: Zero-jump journeys: 0,50 € One-jump journeys: 0,57 € Journeys with two jumps: 0,76 € Trips of three jumps: 1,25 € Transfers: 0,33 € Malaga Metro: 0,41 € Those fares will be applied from January, 1st in all means of transport that are members of the Consortium Card, although in the case of interurban buses they will be applied from January, 16th, although the new discount will be applied retroactively. Increased timetable on bus route M-110 Malaga-Torremolinos-Benalmadena Costa on April, 1st and 2nd

Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs you that on April, 1st and 2d (Maundy Thursday and Good Friday), bus route M-110 Malaga-Torremolinos-Benalmadena Costa will operate with saturday timetable, instead of bank holiday one. Thus, the number of expedition will be increased from 22 to 34 departures in both outward and return. Also, timetable range will be larger, from 06:00 am to 23:00 pm. According to the exceptional situation that may eventually occur as a consequence of the health crisis caused by COVID 19, and the measures that may be adopted by the Health and Government authorities, we recommend checking the bus route timetables on our web and app Consorcio Malaga for Android and iOS

Several bus stops on Benlamádena Costa, reubicated from May, 29th

From May, 29th at 08:00 am, Avenida Antonio Machado (from Sunset Beach Roundabout to Solymar Roundabout) will be out of service due to the pedestrianization of roads on Torremolinos direction. Instead, traffic will be redirected throught the nearest opposite road (direction Fuengirola). Bus stops Sunsent Beach Club, Residencia Marymar, Los Maites, Bil Bil, Selwo Marina, Antonio Machado and Hotel Tritón will be relocated on the median part of the road. The affected bus routes are: M-103 Urbano de Benalmádena Línea 1 Estupa-Nueva Torrequebrada M-110 Málaga-Torremolinos-Benalmádena Costa M-120 Torremolinos-Fuengirola M-121 Mijas-Benalmádena-Torremolinos M-123 Churriana-Torremolinos-Benalmádena Costa M-126 Benalmádena-Torremolinos

II Half Maraton and V Carrera Litoral Holiday World on Sunday, March, 8th, in Benalmádena Costa may affect some Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes

The City of Benalmádena and Resort Holiday World will organize the II Half Maraton and V Carrera Litoral Holiday World, a charity race to raise funds on behalf of Proyecto Hombre. There will be 5 km, 10 km and 21 km (half maraton) races, designed for those who are released to run. All races will begin and end its itinerary in Rotonda de los Elefantes (bus stop Holiday World), and will take Avenida Costa del Sol towards Málaga until restaurant El Embarcadero (5km race), Avenida Las Palmeras (10 km race) and Puerto Marina (21 km race) to return to the starting point and complete the course. Notice about how to use the Travel Card to buy Renfe’s suburban train tickets

Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs you that, temporarily and for technological reasons, Travel Card will be only used in the vending machines to buy single, round trip and ten trips tickets, and may require an additional cost of 50 credits for the support in which they are issued the tickets (“Renfe y tú” card). With Travel Card you cannot reload a “Renfe y tú” card, which you can only load in cash or with a credit card.
