The Benalmádena’s neighborhood of Santangelo Norte is going to be part of the intercity bus route M-124 Carola – Torremolinos from Saturday, October, 31st.

The City Council of Benalmadena asked the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport for a direct communication by public transport with this neighborhood of recent creation just north of the A-7 highway.

Bus Route M-124 Carola – Torremolinos has eleven full expeditions (round trip), every day of the week, including holidays. Of these, five departures from Carola (Rotonda Aguamarina) to Torremolinos will be diverted after Colegio Miguel Hernandez bus stop through Santangelo Norte, including five new bus stops: Cemeterio, Santangelo 1, Santangelo 2, Glorieta Santangelo and Bajada Santangelo.

The timetable of those departures is: 8:21, 9:50, 14:30, 20:05 and 21:26. Bus will return to its usual route in Avda. Inmaculada 1, but in those departures the rest of itinerary will be modified to compensate travel time in Santangelo. These expeditions will complete their route along Avenida Federico Garcia Lorca to the Paseo Marítimo Antonio Machado instead of Carril del Siroco, cancelling bus stops El Cruce, El Zodíaco and Carril del Siroco. The rest of departures without passing through Santangelo Norte will include them.

Bus route direction Torremolinos to Carola wont stop at Santangelo Norte, so travelers with destination to Santangelo Norte are allowed to board at any bus stop direction Torremolinos to Carola, and from Avda. Inmaculada 1 direction Carola To Torremolinos, and continue traveling on the bus to their destination without paying a new ticket (if the next expedition from Carola to Torremolinos stops at Santangelo Norte).
