On Saturday, August 22nd will take place the “IV Summer Gymkhana”, in the area of the Torreón in La Cala de Mijas, organized by the Department of Youth of the Municipality of Mijas.
A Gymkhana is an activity that promotes teamwork coordination. It is contested by teams of three to four people at any age, although children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Gymkhana’s theme for this year is “The Mystery of Los Jurado”, in reference to Cortijo Jurado, the famous haunted house .
If you want to participate or enjoy the Summer Gymkhana, forget the car. The Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport increases the special summer bus service M-520 Mijas Pueblo – Cala de Mijas on August, 22nd. You can get to La Cala de Mijas safely, comfortably and cheaply. With its Travel Card (set to zero fare zones), each trip will cost 0.94 euros.
Services of bus route M-520 will be increased with departures from Mijas Pueblo at 17:30, 19:30, 20:30, 21:30 and 23:30. And from La Cala de Mijas at 18:30, 20:00 (existing service), 21:00, 22:00 and 00:00.
