On Sunday, May, 19th will take place the VII Triathlon Benalmádena, with 750 meter swimming, 20 km on bike and 5 km running. It will start at 09:30 with the swimming event leaving from Malapesquera beach and arriving at Club Nautico Maritimo Benalmadena. Then, cycling event with four laps through a circuit including San Juan Sebastian Elcano, Avenida Alay, Avda. Antonio Machado until Rotonda de los Molinillos, and Avenida García Lorca till the Club de Hielo roundabout, and back. Due to road works, from February, 21st bus stops Camino de Coín La Vega, Polígono San Rafael and Río Agua will be out of service during two months. In order to ensure the safety of the runners, Torremolinos City Hall informs that, fron 10:00 am to 13:00 pm, there will be traffic cuts in several streets during the passage of participants, thus some Consortium bus routes with origin, stop or destination in Torremolinos could be affected. In any case, those cuts will be minor, not meaning big delays or out-of-service bus stops. Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs you that, due to rehabilitation works in road MA-5001 in Alhaurín de la Torre, between Torrealquería and Viveros Guzmán, bus route M-135 Málaga-Santa Amalia will take a longer provisional itinerary. This new route to avoid road works which takes about 10 minutes of delay. Trying not to affect the usual timetables of the bus route, departures from Santa Amalia will be advanced 10 minutes before its regular ones. Those works will last about two months.
