The Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium increases services on bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas from August, 1st to September, 8th. M-122 will increase its services with daily departures from Fuengirola every 30 minutes from 07:20(1) to 23:45, and from Mijas Pueblo from 07:45(2) to 00:15. On Saturday, 3rd, will take place the Noche Celta fest in Mijas Pueblo, with traditional music and dance, market and gastronomy around the celtic world. Bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas will be reinforced with two more departures from Fuengirola at 00:30 and 01:30, and from Mijas Pueblo at 01:00 and 02:00. The Feria de La Cala de Mijas 2019 has come, full of fun, music, gastronomy, flamenco and musical performances from morning to night. For enjoying Feria de La Cala de Mijas, forget your car, parking and fines and use public transport. Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium, at the request of the Council of Mijas, strengthen bus route M-119 Calahonda-Fuengirola on July, from 26th to 28th, with night services from Fuengirola at 22:00, 23:00 , 00:00, 01:00 and 02:00, and from Calahonda at 22:30, 23:30, 00:30, 01:30 and 02:30. Between June, 21st and September, 8th, head to the beach, go shopping or enjoy a night on the town on public transport. As in previous years, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium is offering a Special Summer Service. This includes new inter-urban bus routes and increased frequency of existing bus services, enabling passengers to take public transport to beaches, shopping centres and night spots and thus avoid the problems associated with the use of private vehicles (traffic jams, parking, fines, etc.). Arroyo de la Miel, in Benalmádena, will live some great days during Feria de San Juan 2019. The fair activities will affect traffic on some roads and streets, and thus on following bus stops on bus route M-103 Urbano de Benalmádena. On Friday, May, 31st, due to some cycling events in Cártama will be several road closures, modified bus routes and out-of-service bus stops during the passage of the bunch, with important affections on some Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport intercity bus routes. The event will take place between 04:00 pm and 09:00 pm. Please be informed that several expeditions of bus route M-113 Málaga-Las Lagunas-Fuengirola will modify its timetable, and will take effect from June, 3rd. These changes are due a readjustment of real arrival and departure timetables comparing to expected ones. Those modifications only affect at monday to friday (working days) departures. Cártama Estación will live some great days during San Isidro Labrador Fair. The fair activities will affect traffic on some roads and streets, and thus on several Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes. On Sunday, May, 19th, will take the traditional pilgrimage of San Isidro Labrador. More than 50 floats will focus on Carmen Juanola street to get together on its way to the Guadalhorce River. There will be prizes for the best riders and amazons, the best float and the best children's float. On Sunday, May, 19th will take place the VII Triathlon Benalmádena, with 750 meter swimming, 20 km on bike and 5 km running. It will start at 09:30 with the swimming event leaving from Malapesquera beach and arriving at Club Nautico Maritimo Benalmadena. Then, cycling event with four laps through a circuit including San Juan Sebastian Elcano, Avenida Alay, Avda. Antonio Machado until Rotonda de los Molinillos, and Avenida García Lorca till the Club de Hielo roundabout, and back. Finally, foot race with two laps of a circuit across Puerto Marina's dockage area and seafront. UPDATE: road works will extend till May, Tuesday, 14th. So, bus route service on bus stop Plaza will be delayed till Wednesday, 15th. Due to some road works, bus stop "Plaza" in Colmenar will be out of service on May, from 7th to 9th. Thus, last bus stop on bus route M-251 Málaga-Casabermeja-Colmenar will be "Cruz".
