The City Council of Cártama informs us that, due to some works in Avenida de Andalucía (Cártama Estación), this street will be closed to traffic road for about two months. Those works are part of the projects developed to prevent flooding in the area, as happened in December.
As an alternative road for the transit of vehicles, on the A-7057 road has been enabled a detour near Puente de Hierro, through Cerería street, crossing under under the train tracks and Carmen Juanola street. Through this detour, you can get El Sexmo, Campanillas and Málaga (accessing from Cártama Pueblo). Also, this detour is able for those vehicles that come from the Pizarra road and Cártama Pueblo to get Cártama Estación or the A-357 highway.
On the other hand, you can drive along the A-7057 road until the link break with the A-7054, which allows access to Pizarra, and the A-357 highway.
Works are estimated to begin on Tuesday 7 February.
These works affect the itineraries of several Consortium bus routes, so that “Ambulatorio” and “Prolongo” bus stops will be out of service. Bus stop “Puente de Hierro” will be temporarily translated to Calle Cerería, near to Venta Romero.
