According to a collaboration agreement with the City Council of Rincón de la Victoria, the urban bus routes of this municipality operated by Rinconbus, S.C.A, will be integrated into the field of action of the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium (CTMAM).
From Tuesday, September, 19th, those urban routes will be grouped in seven new bus routes that will travel and communicate all the population centers of this municipality.
The integration of the urban bus of Rincón de la Victoria will entail the following benefits for the user:
- To allow the use of the transport card of the Consortium in the urban bus routes of Rincón de la Victoria.
- To allow the transfer between the urban routes of Rincón de la Victoria with the rest of interurban services by paying the trip with the transport card of the Consortium at a reduced cost.
- New design of timetables of the routes in the bus stops, with estimated arriving time through the main stops.
- Optimization of the urban furniture, integrating the information in a single post or shelter, saving costs.
- Reordering the numbering of urban routes, which become seven:
- R1 Centro Comercial-Benagalbón
- R2 Los Delgado-Centro Comercial-Lo Cea-Benagalbón
- R3 Cortijo Blanco-Lomas de Rincón-Centro Comercial-Parque Victoria
- R4 Parque Victoria-Serramar-Cantal Alto-Los Olivos-Altos de Lo Cea
- R5 Los Delgado-Centro Comercial-Lo Cea-Cortijo Blanco
- R6 Los Delgado-Centro Comercial-Serramar-Lo Cea-Torre Benagalbón
- R7 Benagalbón-Cuevas-Serramar-Centro Comercial
- Integration of the information of Rincón de la Victori urban bus routes in the web and Consortium mobile app (for Android or iOS).
The integration will not imply any change about the current rates paid in cash or with the Rinconbus card, whether generic or individualized for certain groups (pensioners, students, Adult Schools and Municipal Sports users, etc).
