Cártama prepares its III Cártama Half Marathon, as part of the Andalusian Championships of Half Marathon. It will take place on October, 9th at 9.30 am, departing from the Ciudad Deportiva (Cártama Sport Centre). The running event will test the strength of the runners through 21,097 kilometers. On Sunday, October, 2nd will take place the VI Half Marathon MTB Prolongo of Cártama. A cycling test of 42 kilometers which will start and end at the Ciudad Deportiva in Cártama Estación. DEFEST CANCELLED: The event organizers cancelled the festival of music planned for next Saturday, October, 1st, so eventually departure of bus route M-168 Rincón de la Victoria-Málaga (Búho) from Rincón Sol at 02:10 wont be changed. Within the framework of the projects on the occasion of the European Mobility Week 2016, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will service bus route M-154 Cártama Estación-Maqueda. This new bus route connects Cártama Estación with Maqueda and Santa Rosalia, in Malaga, where travelers can trasbord with urban bus routes L-19 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda (Por Ortega y Gasset) and L-25 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda.
