The pedestrianisation of Torremolinos Centre will soon become a reality, on Saturday, November 28th. From Friday, November, 27th midnight, access to Calle Hoyo, Plaza Costa del Sol and Calle de la Cruz will be closed to vehicular traffic, so all vehicles (private and public transport ones) will be diverted to an alternative route.

Bus routes towards Benalmádena will be diverted from Calle Hoyo and Calle Campillos cross to Calle Río Aranda, turning on Calle Rio Bergantes to Avenida de los Manantiales, where, through Calle Isabel Manoja, will connect with Avenida Palma de Mallorca, continuing their current route.

On bus routes towards Malaga, their usual route track by Avenida Palma de Mallorca’s Plaza Costa del Sol and Calle de la Cruz will be removed, so buses will made the previous way but in reverse direction, connecting through Calle Campillos with the final stretch of Calle de la Cruz, returning to the current route.

Thus, the following intercity bus routes with origin, transit or destination Torremolinos Centre will be affected:

Changes on bus routes requires additionally about half a kilometer in each direction, which would lead to delays in the currently set timetables. Therefore, timetable will be reestructured.

New timetables and routes on effect from Saturday, November, 28th are now available.
