The Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will offer the new service M-236 Málaga-Pizarra-Álora-Caminito del Rey/El Chorro, which will be able every weekend and public holidays (except on mondays) since august, 1st. In only few months since its inauguration, Caminito del Rey has become one of the turistic sensation in Spain during 2015. The timetable of this route is: departures from Málaga at 08:30 and 15:00, and departures from Caminito del Rey at 11:45 and 18:45. Traffic in some streets will be temporary interrupted due to the celebration of events of Rincón de la Victoria Fair 2015 On july, 16th, due to the Virgen del Carmen Procession, traffic in Avenida del Mediterráneo will be interrupted since 19:00 till its end. The Luna Mora Festival in Mijas will take place during two weekends, july, 17th, 18th and 19th and july, 31th, august 1st and 2nd. Between 22th June and 8th September, head to the beach, go shopping or enjoy a night on the town on public transport. As in previous years, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium is offering a Special Summer Service. This includes new inter-urban bus routes and increased frequency of existing bus services, enabling passengers to take public transport to beaches, shopping centres and night spots and thus avoid the problems associated with the use of private vehicles (traffic jams, parking, fines, etc.).
