The Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport increases bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas during the Feria de Mijas 2016 (Mijas Fair), from september, 7th to 11th. Bus route M-122 Fuengirola - Mijas will increase its services with departures from Fuengirola untill 01:30 and from Mijas Pueblo till 02:00. On Thursday, 8th, main day of Mijas Fair, this bus routes will have departures from 20:00 to 01:30 every 30 minutes (from Fuengirola) and from 20:00 to 02:00 every 30 minutes (from Mijas Pueblo). Since August, 8th, routes M-112 Málaga-Mijas, M-121 Torremolinos-Benalmádena-Mijas and M-126 Benalmádena-Torremolinos will modify its timetables. Even after past reorganization of those bus routes on June, 1st , still have been detected some deficiencies in the service provided in Malaga-Torremolinos-Benalmádena-Mijas corridor bus routes, so, in order to adjust the transport offer to the needs of users, these adjustments on timetable are proposed again in this way. Hospital Valle del Guadalhorce (Cártama) begins in service from next Tuesday, June, 28th, giving health coverage to thirteen municipalities: Alhaurin el Grande, Alora, Alozaina, Ardales, Cártama, Carratraca, Casarabonela, Coin, Guaro, Monda, Pizarra, Tolox and Yunquera. To ensure access to the hospital by public transport, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium enables a new bus stop, Hospital Valle del Guadalhorce, on several Consortium bus routes, so that the connection between some municipalities and the hospital will be direct. These bus routes are: M-144 Gibralgalia-El Sexmo, which connects the areas of Gibralgalia and El Sexmo (Cártama) and Cerralba (Pizarra) with the Hospital.
