Changes in several Consortium bus route timetables due to the VI Half Marathon MTB Cártama on Sunday, October, 2nd

On Sunday, October, 2nd will take place the VI Half Marathon MTB Prolongo of Cártama. A cycling test of 42 kilometers which will start and end at the Ciudad Deportiva in Cártama Estación. Most of the route will pass through rural lanes and urban roads in the towns of Cártama and Pizarra. The timetable set for the holding of the activity is from 10.00 to 14.00 hours. To ensure the safety of bikers, the circuit will be limited and fenced, and forbidden for vehicles from 09:00 until 14:30 hours. THE MUSIC FESTIVAL DEFEST, PLANNED FOR NEXT SATURDAY, FINALLY CANCELLED

DEFEST CANCELLED: The event organizers cancelled the festival of music planned for next Saturday, October, 1st, so eventually departure of bus route M-168 Rincón de la Victoria-Málaga (Búho) from Rincón Sol at 02:10 wont be changed. On Saturday, October, 1st, will take place the second edition of DeFest in Rincon de la Victoria, a music festival that already had great success last year, and in 2016 with the presence of such important bands as Delorean, Vinila Von Bismark, Oh,Trikelians!, JJ. New Bus route between Cártama Estación and Maqueda from September, 19 th

Within the framework of the projects on the occasion of the European Mobility Week 2016, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will service bus route M-154 Cártama Estación-Maqueda. This new bus route connects Cártama Estación with Maqueda and Santa Rosalia, in Malaga, where travelers can trasbord with urban bus routes L-19 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda (Por Ortega y Gasset) and L-25 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda. Relocation of bus stop "Mijas Pueblo" from September, 19th

Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs that from September, 19th, Plaza Virgen de la Peña in Mijas Pueblo will be reopened to public transport buses. Due to pedestrian works in this square, bus stop has been temporarily relocated. Once works finished, bus stop will be replaced in its usual ubication. European Mobility Week 2016 in Malaga Area

University Bus Services academic year 2016-2017

Next Monday, September, 19th, coinciding with the opening of the academic year at the University of Malaga (UMA), will start the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium University Bus Services, connecting the towns of Alhaurin de la Torre, Benalmádena, Mijas and Rincón de la Victoria with the University Campus of Teatinos and Ampliación de Teatinos, as well as Hospital Clínico. University services will be provided on school days, according to the academic calendar of the UMA. Winter timetables from september, 12th

Bus routes with increased frequency of existing bus services will end on September, 11th. Increased services on bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas due to Mijas Fair (september, 7th to 11th)

The Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport increases bus route M-122 Fuengirola-Mijas during the Feria de Mijas 2016 (Mijas Fair), from september, 7th to 11th. Bus route M-122 Fuengirola - Mijas will increase its services with departures from Fuengirola untill 01:30 and from Mijas Pueblo till 02:00. On Thursday, 8th, main day of Mijas Fair, this bus routes will have departures from 20:00 to 01:30 every 30 minutes (from Fuengirola) and from 20:00 to 02:00 every 30 minutes (from Mijas Pueblo). Forget the car, you can get Mijas Fair safely, comfortably and cheaply. With its Travel Card  (set to zero fare zones), each trip will cost 0.93 euros.
