New unified timetable for bus route M-220 Fuengirola-Marbella from November, 1st

The Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs that from November, 1st, bus route M-220 Fuengirola-Marbella will provide a unified timetable for any day of the year. So, weekdays, Sundays and holidays will have 32 completed expeditions. Thus, the supply of Sundays and holidays will be improved (currently 30 expeditions). Increased services in bus routes with access to the cemeteries of Mijas and Arroyo de la Miel on the occasion of All Saints Day

In keeping with tradition,  hundreds of people will come to cemeteries on the occasion of All Saints Day. For public transport access, Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will expand services in bus route M-129 Fuengirola-Las Lagunas-Cementerio-Hipodromo (stopping at the Cemetery of San Cayetano, in Mijas) and M-124 Carola-Torremolinos (accessing to the Cemetery of Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena). Thus, bus route M-129, which works on Sundays and holidays, will also serve on Saturday, October, 29th. Thus, the line will serve on October, 29th and  30th and November, 1st. On the other side, bus route M-124 will extend its services on November, 1st and 2nd, with more departures to Santángelo through Arroyo de la Miel Cemetery: from bus stop "Rotonda Aguamarina" [...]

The worst things are trying to move around the city by car, trying to park or trying not to drink an alcohol potion, or zombies will eat your brain and wallet .... Several Consortium Bus Routes will be affected due to III Half Marathon Ciudad de Cártama on Sunday, 9th

Cártama prepares its III Cártama Half Marathon, as part of the Andalusian Championships of Half Marathon. It will take place on October, 9th at 9.30 am, departing from the Ciudad Deportiva (Cártama Sport Centre). The running event will test the strength of the runners through 21,097 kilometers. Along with the half marathon, it will take place the popular race III Carrera Popular Valle del Azahar, with 8 kilometers through the streets of Cártama. Because of both races, will be traffic cuts while runners pass, from 8.00 am to 13.00 pm, through the streets of Estación de Cártama area. Changes in several Consortium bus route timetables due to the VI Half Marathon MTB Cártama on Sunday, October, 2nd

On Sunday, October, 2nd will take place the VI Half Marathon MTB Prolongo of Cártama. A cycling test of 42 kilometers which will start and end at the Ciudad Deportiva in Cártama Estación. Most of the route will pass through rural lanes and urban roads in the towns of Cártama and Pizarra. The timetable set for the holding of the activity is from 10.00 to 14.00 hours. To ensure the safety of bikers, the circuit will be limited and fenced, and forbidden for vehicles from 09:00 until 14:30 hours. THE MUSIC FESTIVAL DEFEST, PLANNED FOR NEXT SATURDAY, FINALLY CANCELLED

DEFEST CANCELLED: The event organizers cancelled the festival of music planned for next Saturday, October, 1st, so eventually departure of bus route M-168 Rincón de la Victoria-Málaga (Búho) from Rincón Sol at 02:10 wont be changed. On Saturday, October, 1st, will take place the second edition of DeFest in Rincon de la Victoria, a music festival that already had great success last year, and in 2016 with the presence of such important bands as Delorean, Vinila Von Bismark, Oh,Trikelians!, JJ. New Bus route between Cártama Estación and Maqueda from September, 19 th

Within the framework of the projects on the occasion of the European Mobility Week 2016, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will service bus route M-154 Cártama Estación-Maqueda. This new bus route connects Cártama Estación with Maqueda and Santa Rosalia, in Malaga, where travelers can trasbord with urban bus routes L-19 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda (Por Ortega y Gasset) and L-25 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda. Relocation of bus stop "Mijas Pueblo" from September, 19th

Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs that from September, 19th, Plaza Virgen de la Peña in Mijas Pueblo will be reopened to public transport buses. Due to pedestrian works in this square, bus stop has been temporarily relocated. Once works finished, bus stop will be replaced in its usual ubication. European Mobility Week 2016 in Malaga Area

From September, 16th to 22nd will take place the European Mobility Week, a campaign that wants us to figure out how we set our movements, raising the use of public transport, cycling, walking, etc. The slogan of this year, "Smart mobility. Strong economy" notes that, in addition to significant savings in resources, profits generated by smart and sustainable mobility on the environment and health also means a high reduction on costs for reducing the effects caused by the abuse of private vehicles. University Bus Services academic year 2016-2017

Next Monday, September, 19th, coinciding with the opening of the academic year at the University of Malaga (UMA), will start the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium University Bus Services, connecting the towns of Alhaurin de la Torre, Benalmádena, Mijas and Rincón de la Victoria with the University Campus of Teatinos and Ampliación de Teatinos, as well as Hospital Clínico. University services will be provided on school days, according to the academic calendar of the UMA.
