Within the framework of the projects on the occasion of the European Mobility Week 2016, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will service bus route M-154 Cártama Estación-Maqueda.
This new bus route connects Cártama Estación with Maqueda and Santa Rosalia, in Malaga, where travelers can trasbord with urban bus routes L-19 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda (Por Ortega y Gasset) and L-25 Paseo del Parque-Campanillas-Maqueda.
Thus, travelers from Cártama Estación will have access to important workplaces, schools and universities, services and shopping areas such as the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (PTA), Campanillas, Campus de Teatinos, Hospital Clínico, the Industrial Estates El Viso and San José del Viso, Avenida de Andalucía, the City Centre of Málaga and La Malagueta.
By using the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium Travel Card (set to 1 fare zones), trip between Cártama Estación and Maqueda on bus route M-154 will cost 1.07 euros, and the transfer to urban buses, 0.65 euros. From this first tranfer, trip on other Malaga urban buses will be free for one hour using the Travel Card.
The new bus route M-154 Cártama Estación-Maqueda provides service from Monday to Friday, with departures from Cártama Station at 07:10, 07:30 and 7:50 in the morning and 15:10, 15:30 and 15:50 midafternoon. From Maqueda (stopping at bus stop Los Campesinos) departures will be at 07:00, 07:20 and 7:40 in the morning, and at 15:00, 15:20 and 15:40 midafternoon.
These timetables at early morning and midafternoon have been taken to accommodate them of entry and exit of jobs and schools.
