Once you’ve received your card, you need to go to a sales point associated with the Consortia you applied to. You can find their locations on each Consortia’s website.
Tell the vendor you want to activate the Free Child Pass.
For the first activation of a new Youth Card for a child under 15, an initial balance of €15 (the maximum amount of the child pass) will be loaded onto it.
You won’t have to pay the €15 balance. You’ll only need to pay the €1.50 card management fee. The system will automatically increase the balance to the €15 limit. It’s important that both you and the sales point check the receipt to verify that only the management fees are being charged.
This operation must be performed at terminals under the control of a physical operator, not at automatic machines.
