Several bus routes return to its common itineraries after the reopening to the traffic of the Avenida de Andalucía in Cártama Station

The City Council of Cártama communicates to us the ending of the works executed in the lower passage under Avenida de Andalucia, the main road in Cártama Estación, maintained cut to the traffic rolled from the past 7 of February. New bus stop Paseo de los Curas on bus routes M-163 and M-168 from April, 1st

Due to a collaboration agreement with the Empresa Malagueña de Transporte (EMTSAM), from April, 1st, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes M-163 Málaga-Rincón de la Victoria-Los Rubios and M-168 Rincón de la Victoria-Málaga (Búho) will stop at Paseo de los Curas in all their expeditions and in both directions. The new bus stop, shared with the urban bus line L-40 Paseo de la Farola-Sacaba Beach, is located in the middle of Paseo de los Curas, next to the pedestrian crossing with traffic light regulation that gives access to the central entrance of Paseo del Parque, Palmeral de las Sorpresas and Muelle 2. Unification of the code of bus routes between Malaga and Cártama from April, 1st

Nowadays, there are four bus routes with departure and destination in Malaga and Cártama, which differ from each other in variants of its route to access to El Sexmo and Teatinos / Hospital Clínico: M-131 Málaga-Cártama, M-146 Málaga-Teatinos-Cártama, M-147 Málaga-Teatinos-Cártama and M-148 Málaga-El Sexmo-Cártama. To simplify the information provided, from April, 1st, these four routes will be renamed as M-131 Málaga-Cártama, with two variants, M-131B and M-131C, replacing the previous M-146 and M-147. UPDATE: Bus route M-340 Álora-El Chorro service changes from February, 23rd due to road works

From February, 23rd, and during the course on the road "Álora-El Chorro", the bus route M-340 Álora-Bermejo-El Chorro/Caminito del Rey timetable will be modified. Departures from bus stop El Chorro, will be delayed by ten minutes. As road section between Bermejo and El Chorro will be enterely closed to traffic, it will be diverted to an alternative road, Carril del Quinto. The work is scheduled to take 2 months. Reunification of bus routes from Maqueda and Hospital Guadalhorce with Cártama from March, 1st

After several months on service, bus routes M-153 Hospital-Cártama Pueblo-Cártama Estación and M-154 Cártama Estación-Maqueda will be reunited in a single bus route, the new M-153 Hospital-Cártama-Maqueda, from March, 1st. Studying the customers demand profiles for different areas and departures, this alternative is considered to make a better optimization of the resources and the offer available to the customers. Routes and timetable changes in some Bus routes due to Spain-France bilateral summit and sunday storm in east Malaga area

Due to a Spain-France bilateral summit and the effects of past sunday storm, several Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes with departure, arrival or stop at Estación Muelle Heredia and East Malaga roads would be affected on Monday, February, 20th.

Relocation of two bus stops in Mijas on February, 21st due to changes in some roads direction of traffic

Two Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus stops in Mijas will change their location from Tuesday, February, 21st, due to changes at direction of traffic in its roads of access. Bus stop "El Corte Inglés", currently located on Calle Santa Gema (Las Lagunas de Mijas) will be traslated few meters. This relocation takes place after the change of traffic direction at Calle Santa Laura, which will allow it towards Rotonda Ford to take the street in the opposite direction. From February, 21st, bus route will avoid turning through Camino de Las Cañadas. This bus stop is included on bus Routes M-127 Las Lagunas-Estación de Autobuses, and M-129 Estación de Autobuses-Las Lagunas-Cementerio-Hipódromo. Modifications in several Consortium bus routes for works in Cártama Estación from February, 6th

The City Council of Cártama informs us that, due to some works in Avenida de Andalucía (Cártama Estación), this street will be closed to traffic road for about two months. Those works are part of the projects developed to prevent flooding in the area, as happened in December. As an alternative road for the transit of vehicles, on the A-7057 road has been enabled a detour near Puente de Hierro, through Cerería street, crossing under under the train tracks and Carmen Juanola street. Through this detour, you can get El Sexmo, Campanillas and Málaga (accessing from Cártama Pueblo).
