Night services on bus route M-119 by Feria de La Cala de Mijas

Collection period for Large Family Travel Card expands during summer

Travel Cards will be ready for collection approximately in one month. Bus route Services to Hospital Valle del Guadalhorce from June, 28th

Hospital Valle del Guadalhorce (Cártama) begins in service from next Tuesday, June, 28th, giving health coverage to thirteen municipalities: Alhaurin el Grande, Alora, Alozaina, Ardales, Cártama, Carratraca, Casarabonela, Coin, Guaro, Monda, Pizarra, Tolox and Yunquera. To ensure access to the hospital by public transport, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium enables a new bus stop, Hospital Valle del Guadalhorce, on several Consortium bus routes, so that the connection between some municipalities and the hospital will be direct. These bus routes are: M-144 Gibralgalia-El Sexmo, which connects the areas of Gibralgalia and El Sexmo (Cártama) and Cerralba (Pizarra) with the Hospital. M-233 Málaga-Cerralba-Alora, with direct connection between Álora, Pizarra and Cerralba (Pizarra). 5th rallie "Subida a Colmenar Montes de Málaga" will affect bus route M-251 Málaga-Casabermeja-Colmenar on June, 24th

During the full day, June, 24th, Bus route M-251 Malaga-Casabermeja-Colmenar will be affected by the 5th edition of rallie "Subida a Colmenar Montes de Málaga", so bus stop Plaza (Departure and EOL) will be out of service the full day, concluding that bus route at bus stop Cruz. Summer 2016 Special Services to beaches, shops and night spots

Between June, 24th and September, 11th, head to the beach, go shopping or enjoy a night on the town on public transport. As in previous years, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium is offering a Special Summer Service. This includes new inter-urban bus routes and increased frequency of existing bus services, enabling passengers to take public transport to beaches, shopping centres and night spots and thus avoid the problems associated with the use of private vehicles (traffic jams, parking, fines, etc.). The Summer Service will be available between June, 24th and September, 11th, 2016 to bus users in Alhaurin de la Torre, Alora, Almogia, Cartama, Casabermeja, Colmenar, Malaga, Mijas, Pizarra and Totalan. Increased Services on bus routes from Malaga to Benalmadena Costa and Rincon de la Victoria at Midsummer Eve, June, 23rd

There are many "moragas" (beach fires)  and celebrations planned for the Magic Midsummer Eve Noche de San Juan, on Thursday, June, 23rd. For enjoying them in public transport, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium reinforces the following bus routes which connect Malaga Benalmádena Costa and Rincón de la Victoria: M-110 Málaga-Benalmádena Costa: this service will be increased with departures from Malaga (Muelle Heredia) at 02:00 and 03:00, and from Benalmádena Costa (Torrenueva) at 02:00, 3:00 and 04:00. New bus stop Camping Ardales on bus route M-347, the Caminito del Rey shuttle, from June, 8th

There will be a new bus stop on bus route M-347 Caminito del Rey/El Chorro-El Kiosco, the shuttle between both access to Caminito del Rey (the Northern one in Ardales and the Southern one in Álora), from June, 8th, Camping Ardales. It's located at the entrance to the homonymous camping, about 500 meters from El Kiosko bus stop. This new stop was requested by the Town of Ardales, looking for the safety and comfort of camping customers and staff. Thus, they could access directly to the bus. New timetable for Malaga-Torremolinos-Benalmádena-Mijas corridor bus routes from June, 1st

Since June, 1st, routes M-112 Málaga-Mijas, M-121 Torremolinos-Benalmádena-Mijas and M-126 Benalmádena-Torremolinos will modify its timetables. Due to Torremolinos Centre pedestrianisation from November, 2015, Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes with departure, transit or destination in the center of Torremolinos reorganized its expeditions. After this time, there have been detected some deficiencies in the service provided in Malaga-Torremolinos-Benalmádena-Mijas corridor bus routes, so, in order to adjust the transport offer to the needs of users, these adjustments on timetable are proposed in this way, with the same number of expeditions in bus routes M-112 and M-121, and increases by two complete expeditions (round trip) in  bus routeM-126. Bus stop Cristo de la Agonía will be included on several Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes from Monday, May, 23rd

From next Monday, May, 23rd, three intercity Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium intercity bus routes will include in its roads the bus stop Cristo de la Agonía in Alhaurin el Grande. This stop, only in Alhaurin el Grande to Malaga road sense, is located between Casas Nuevas and La Fuente. IV Triathlon Benalmádena on Sunday, May, 22nd will affect several bus routes

On Sunday, May, 22nd will take place the IV Triathlon Benalmádena, with 750 meter swimming, 20 km on bike and 5 km running. It will start at 10:00 with the swimming event leaving from Malapesquera beach and arriving at Club Nautico Maritimo Benalmadena. Then, cycling event with four laps through a circuit including San Juan Sebastian Elcano, Avenida Alay, Avda. Antonio Machado until Rotonda de los Molinillos, and Avenida García Lorca till the Club de Hielo roundabout, and back. Finally, foot race with two laps of a circuit across Puerto Marina's dockage area and seafront.
