On Monday, November, 28th, will star the construction of a bus bay at Loma del Campo bus stop, towards Malaga, in Santa Rosalía-Maqueda neighborhood. With an estimated duration of two weeks, it will be carried out by Estudio 7, Ingeniería y Construcción. It includes the extension of the road to make an exclusive lane segregated from the main road. Thus, the bus make its stop more safely for traffic, pedestrians and users, with new sidewalk, shelter and pedestrian crossing. Please be informed that several expeditions of bus route Málaga-Pizarra-Alora (Ruta) will modify its timetable. These changes are due to users proposals, as well as a readjustment of timetables due to the access to Hospital Valle del Guadalhorce in certain departures. Those modifications, which take effect on November, 29th, affect the departures from Álora (Monday to Friday) at 07:00 and 20:00, which would be ahead of 06:45 and 19:30, respectively. From Malaga, changes affect the departure at 13:30, which are ahead of 13:15, and 21:00 hours, which happens at 20:30. For those who want to enjoy the night and forget about parking, alcohol and fines, the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium starts the night bus route M-168 Rincon de la Victoria-Malaga also on Thursdays from November, 3rd until December, 15th. So, this service will be available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and bank holiday eves, departing from Malaga (Muelle Heredia) at 00:30, 01:30, 02:15 and 03:30, and from Rincón Sol at 00:45, 01:30, 02:10, 02:55 and 04:15. The Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium informs that from November, 1st, bus route M-220 Fuengirola-Marbella will provide a unified timetable for any day of the year. So, weekdays, Sundays and holidays will have 32 completed expeditions. Thus, the supply of Sundays and holidays will be improved (currently 30 expeditions). In keeping with tradition,  hundreds of people will come to cemeteries on the occasion of All Saints Day. For public transport access, Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium will expand services in bus route M-129 Fuengirola-Las Lagunas-Cementerio-Hipodromo (stopping at the Cemetery of San Cayetano, in Mijas) and M-124 Carola-Torremolinos (accessing to the Cemetery of Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena). Thus, bus route M-129, which works on Sundays and holidays, will also serve on Saturday, October, 29th. Thus, the line will serve on October, 29th and  30th and November, 1st. Cártama prepares its III Cártama Half Marathon, as part of the Andalusian Championships of Half Marathon. It will take place on October, 9th at 9.30 am, departing from the Ciudad Deportiva (Cártama Sport Centre). The running event will test the strength of the runners through 21,097 kilometers. Along with the half marathon, it will take place the popular race III Carrera Popular Valle del Azahar, with 8 kilometers through the streets of Cártama. Because of both races, will be traffic cuts while runners pass, from 8.00 am to 13.00 pm, through the streets of Estación de Cártama area. On Sunday, October, 2nd will take place the VI Half Marathon MTB Prolongo of Cártama. A cycling test of 42 kilometers which will start and end at the Ciudad Deportiva in Cártama Estación. Most of the route will pass through rural lanes and urban roads in the towns of Cártama and Pizarra. The timetable set for the holding of the activity is from 10.00 to 14.00 hours. To ensure the safety of bikers, the circuit will be limited and fenced, and forbidden for vehicles from 09:00 until 14:30 hours. DEFEST CANCELLED: The event organizers cancelled the festival of music planned for next Saturday, October, 1st, so eventually departure of bus route M-168 Rincón de la Victoria-Málaga (Búho) from Rincón Sol at 02:10 wont be changed. On Saturday, October, 1st, will take place the second edition of DeFest in Rincon de la Victoria, a music festival that already had great success last year, and in 2016 with the presence of such important bands as Delorean, Vinila Von Bismark, Oh,Trikelians!, JJ. Sprondel and We Are Not DJ's.
