Cártama Estación will live some great days during San Isidro Labrador Fair, which will take place from May,12th to 15th. The fair activities will affect traffic on some roads and streets, and thus on several Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus routes.

On Saturday, May, 14th due to San Isidro Labrador procession, will be no traffic on Avenida de Andalucía, at the height of Carmen Juanola and Iglesia streets. This issue will take place at 20:00 pm (approx.) and last about 45 minutes. This could affect to bus route M-131 Málaga-Cártama, departing from Malaga to 19:45, and from Ampliación de Cártama at 19:55. In that case, the route would link directly from Cártama Pueblo through Guadalhorce highway, avoiding Cártama Estación.

On Sunday, May, 15th, will take the traditional pilgrimage of San Isidro Labrador. More than 50 floats will focus on Carmen Juanola street to get together on its way to the Guadalhorce River. There will be prizes for the best riders and amazons, the best float and the best children’s float.

Due to that, A-7057 road (from Cruce de Churriana roundabout to the junction of Cártama Estación and  Pizarra road, from 14:00 to 16:00) and A-7054 road (from the entrance to El Sexmo to the junction of Cártama Estación and Pizarra road, from 11:00 to 15:00).

For this reason, it will be affected bus routes M-131 Málaga-Cártama, M-231 Málaga-Pizarra-Álora, M-344 Malaga-Tolox and M-345 Malaga-Coin (through Cártama). From 11:00 to 16:00 the following bus stops will be canceled in both senses of road:

  • Camposol
  • Los Campesinos
  • Santa Rosalia-Maqueda
  • Cuesta del Carmen
  • Empalme del Sexmo
  • Fabriquilla
  • Cártama Estación
  • Puente de Hierro
  • Satgama

Bus route M-231 Malaga-Pizarra-Álora also must modify its itinerary, supressing bus stops on Cartama Estación to return to its usual route from / to bus stop El Berrocal.

Warnings will be located on bus stops and vehicles of the affected bus routes.
