Alhaurin de la Torre City Coincil and Deportivo Alpino Jarapalos organize 3rd Ciudad de Alhaurín de la Torre Half Marathon and Popular Race, which will take place on Sunday January 17th from 10:00 hours.

Departure and finishing line will be both located on Avenida El Limon, next to the Municipal Sports Centre. The layout of half marathon spans 21.08 kilometers, going till Casas Blancas, returning by the same road to Calle ÁLamos and Calle Juan Carlos I to continue along Paseo del Comendador to Carretera Lauro Golf , turn on  A-404 road until arriving at the finishing line.

Popular Race lay out (6.5 kilometers), makes it short, turning up from Arroyo del Cura to Avenida Viñagrande to continue to the finishing line.

To ensure the safety of runners, local police in Alhaurin de la Torre reports that, from 9:45 to 13:30 (approximate time) traffic will be closed on A-404 urban road, so, Málaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium intercity bus routes with origin, step or destinationin Alhaurin de la Torre will made an alternative route for Alhaurin bypass (MA-417) to reconnect with  A-404 road to Alhaurín el Grande / Málaga .

Bus stops located between Casas Blancas and Pinos de Alhaurín will be out of service, performing in both directions of traffic, a unique valid bus stop in the town of Alhaurin de la Torre, deviating from Alhaurin bypass by Calle Pau Casals to Centro Comercial Los Manatiales, where will be located.
